Cleaner/Janitor Description:

We are seeking an experienced Cleaner/Janitor to fill a vital role in our team. We are looking for a reliable and skilled individual who understands the importance of this position within an organization or building.

The ideal candidate should have strong communication skills, the ability to prioritize tasks, and possess both a proactive and reactive mindset. We strive to maintain a tidy and well-organized environment, and we expect our future Cleaner/Janitor to take full responsibility for helping us achieve this.

Responsibilities of a Cleaner/Janitor:

• Cleaning building floors (vacuuming, mopping, scrubbing, sweeping)
• Gathering and emptying indoor trash
• Clean, serviced and resupply restrooms
• Clean windows, mirrors, and other glass surfaces
• Engaging in building security and safety activities (checking and locking doors, checking electrical appliances)
• Moving equipment, supplies, and furniture
• Informing managers about required repair and maintenance activities
• Maintaining tools and equipment needed for Cleaner/Janitor duties
• Requiring supplies of the tools and equipment needed for Cleaner/Janitor duties

Cleaner/Janitor Job Requirements:

• Must have proven working experience as a Cleaner/Janitor
• Must know and follow sanitation procedures
• Must be able to respond and act quickly
• Must have strong communication and multitasking skills
• Must know cleaning equipment, chemicals, and supplies
