Job Summary: This is an intermediate level role within the Ecommerce department. This person manages the operations of the e-commerce warehouse with the e-commerce director and is responsible for inbound freight management and leading outbound shipping processing line. The operations team lead position requires understanding of all systems used by the department. Individual will be performing tasks in all systems "in season" and is expected to do what it takes to deliver product to the customer.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Lead warehouse staff to maintain efficient and productive workflow.
Training receiving and processing crew members.
Receive and locate inbound freight in the warehouse.
Create purchase orders and receive products in inventory management software.
Manage Picking which requires lifting heavy boxes and climbing ladders at times.
Manage Quality Control Station. This involves matching picked products with orders, validating, and prepping for the packing stations.
Manage Bulk Shipping Station. This involves quality controlling all bulk orders, prepping products for bulk packing stations and printing shipping labels for bulk processor.
Pack boxes utilizing good judgement and following guidelines set by manager to protect products efficiently and cost effectively.
Use applicable software to weigh packages and print shipping labels. Be mindful of shipping rates, using least expensive option to meet customer expectations and delivery promises. Bring attention to sales team when costs are excessive.
As operations manager, keep shipping processing line moving efficiently as possible.
Responsible for managing the receiving, inspecting, and processing of returns.
6-day work week required “in season”

Education, & Experience Experiences using various SAAS systems preferred
Amazon, Walmart and/or other ecommerce experience a plus

Good communication skills.
PC Computer Skills, Microsoft Windows, Outlook and Excel (Advanced Excel a plus)
Ability to work without constant supervision
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations: Drivers require driver’s license Working Conditions
The work environment for this position is generally in an indoor controlled warehouse environment.
Noise level is moderate; expect noises like office machines and light traffic. This position is in a shared office.
May be requested to work overtime and weekends during the department’s in-season time period.
May be requested to drive company vehicle to other locations
Physical Requirements: Must be able to stand for up to 8 hours. Most of one’s time will be spent standing, walking, reaching, pulling, climbing, bending, and lifting. About 2/3 of one's time will be spent using one's hands to finger, handle or feel, as well as talking or hearing. Expect to lift up to 25lbs on a regular basis.
