Executive Housekeeper

Residence Inn by Marriott – Patriots Point Charleston, SC

Managed by Bennett Hospitality Opening in ~2 Months

We're hiring an experienced Executive Housekeeper to lead the housekeeping department for our brand-new, custom-built Residence Inn by Marriott at Patriots Point. This is a rare opportunity to help open a flagship property in one of Charleston’s most iconic waterfront destinations, operated by the locally based Bennett Hospitality group.

What You’ll Do

· Lead all housekeeping and laundry operations for a newly constructed, extended-stay Marriott property.

· Build the department from the ground up — hiring, training, scheduling, and creating workflows.

· Set up inventory systems, par levels, and storage areas; order supplies and housekeeping equipment.

· Ensure rooms and public spaces meet Marriott and Bennett Hospitality quality standards from day one.

· Partner with Engineering and Front Office to maintain room readiness and guest satisfaction.

· Support guest service by responding to needs and elevating the guest experience through cleanliness.

· Prepare for Marriott Quality Assurance audits and uphold safety, OSHA, and brand compliance.

What We’re Looking For

· 3+ years of hotel housekeeping leadership (Marriott experience preferred).

· Hands-on leadership style — you lead by example, coach, and train.

· Strong knowledge of cleaning systems, chemicals, and OSHA safety protocols.

· Ability to organize and launch departmental systems; pre-opening experience is a bonus.

· Emotionally intelligent communicator who can motivate teams and collaborate with department heads.

Schedule & Reporting

• Full-time, on-site leadership role; flexible schedule needed for pre-opening and operational needs.
• Reports to the General Manager, Residence Inn Patriots Point.
