Acara Solutions is looking for a VMC Operator B for one of our clients in Addison, IL. This position is Temp to hire, however the client will consider direct hire.
Salary range $24.00-35.00/hour
6-430 Mon through Friday, Must be able to work mandatory overtime Monday-Friday and two Saturdays per month. Must be able to work mandatory overtime Monday-Friday and two Saturdays per month.
Summary: Fully capable to set up and operate any CNC Vertical Machining Center machine in
the department. Will be capable of programming most parts in department. Other duties may
be assigned.
Reads process sheets, job folders, blueprints, and work instructions of part to determine
machining to be done, dimensional specifications, set up, and operating requirements.
Maintain job folder integrity.
Repair/adjust set-ups and tooling, troubleshoot nonconforming processes.
Selects and installs preset tooling in machine in sequence specified on process sheet.
Observes numerical displays on control panel and compares with data on process sheet to
verify dimensional adjustments, feed rates, and speeds of machining cuts.
Inspects first run piece and spot checks succeeding pieces for conformance to specifications.
Studies job packet and organizes materials for next run.
Sets up and operates another machine.

Education and/or Experience
Five to seven years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education
